Quest 3 video lag

Playing any type of video lags terribly. I've tried the native player as well as skybox and it's unwatchable. It's like it's playing at 3 frames per second with no audio. I've downloaded them directly to the headset and it's no different then using airlink or airstream. YouTube videos via the app as well as the browser, all videos per browser actually, are the same. Is this a hardware issue? Regardless of how or where I watch videos or movies it just plays extremely laggy and choppy with no sound. I've played a few games and it's been hit or miss. But never any sound. Did I get a bad headset?

Also, I don't think it's my Internet when streaming since I have Google fiber and average around almost a gig via wifi.

We always want to ensure our users have a smooth experience in the Metaverse, so we would love to take a look into this issue more in depth. At this time, let's go ahead and uninstall the mobile app from your phone and then perform a factory reset by following these steps:

  1. Turn off your headset.
  2. Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.
  4. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

Please keep in mind that factory resetting the device will wipe it completely clean, but you are able to turn on Cloud Backup by following the steps listed HERE. Once the factory reset has been completed, please go ahead and reinstall the mobile app to your phone and try pairing it all up again.
