So, I have borrowed a new Quest 3 which I've used a couple of times. Today, the GUI was stuck 30 degrees up in the air and I couldn't fix it, so I followed the recommendation to do a factory reset by holding down the power and volume buttons. Now, as a result of doing that, the screen is dead, and the cooling fan is blowing at full speed. And nothing I try will change that.

The issue was that you have to hold the volume down in the minus position, which I was not doing. Once I held it down in the minus position, together with the power button, I was able to reboot it although it was tricky to operate the menu to choose the factory reset.
