Unbelievable, I bought the grandkids a used, looks like new, Quest 3, 2 days ago. The woman I bought it from said she'd done a factory reset. Yesterday when the kids got home from school, our 12 year old turned it on fully charged, and the logo spins then screen just goes black. I've went thru the suggestions on Metas help, Boot device, Factory reset, nothing changes. Usually get the screen showing a media card and green scrolling line below then just stays black screen afterwards. My luck, where might I send this to for repair?

Not sure how much help they will be able to offer for free. If it is used it will probably cost something to get it fixed. Most likely you will have to get it replaced at a cost for a refurbished unit.
Go to the link I provided and there are links to follow to get assistance to take next steps and to find out what you will have to do to get you into the game.
Take a look on the arm of the Quest. You will need the serial number to get support started.

@DAC59672 sadly it sounds like the woman that sold it to you sold you a kipper. Depending where you are on the planet there are commercial VR headset fixers.

Yes, I have been there and what's weird is when I scroll down to click on Quest 3, it already has the serial # in it and says RMA, awaiting arrival??? Hmmmmm

And I went there and tried to Chat, but evidently that's down, so sent a msg., I'd like to have some idea what a repair would cost me.

BTW, watched quite a few of your videos.

@DAC59672 thanks, I hope you enjoyed them. It still might be worth going down the RMA route as it still appears to be active. You might be looking at boot diagnostics or a motherboard change.

I'll have to say one thing, this company doesn't seem to care much about supporting their present buyers. I've spent over a WEEK pming back and forth with their ?support? team just trying to find out what I'd do to get a replacement or repair. I've answered the same questions asked over 4 times, just doesn't seem to register. By reading on the forums, and across the net, seems as thought these are buggy an awful lot and whatever's causing them to get 'bricked', META isn't looking too good to me at this kind of cost-point. Shame to find out AFTER throwing this kind of money at it.

@DAC59672 a lot of meta unsupport is bots who have no idea what they're talking about. Have you tried using the meta update tool which may be able to bring it back ro life.
