Quest 3S: After Factory Reset, unable to select WiFi during setup

Coastiejeff

I was gifted a Quest. On the Quest 3S, after deleting the original owners profile from device and Factory Reset, during the setup process I get to the WiFi connect screen. The list of WiFi networks available appears, and when I click on my WiFi network, the network name ‘highlights’ when I click on it but it wont select to allow me to continue the setup. I then attempted to connect to my personal hotspot, but the same happens; the WiFi name shows up in the list, but I’m not able to select it and continue with the setup.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Horizon app. Still nothing.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You need to supply the wifi network password/code to connect.  Also need router/network permissions enabled to do this.

i9 13900K water cooled, RTX4090, Z790 MB w/wifi6e, 64Gb 6400 ram, 2x2TB SSD, 1000W PSU, Win 11, QPro, Q3, w/Link and Air Link, Vive Pro1 with 2x2.0 base stations, Etsy lens mod and Index Controllers

I initially was able to connect as a shared user, but after removing the original owners profile, and factory reset, it now won’t allow me to select my WiFi again.

Sorry, I'm not sure why.  Maybe a user profile, bluetooth, and/or router permissions issues.  I suggest you contact meta support and see if they can help you sort this out.  Good luck mate, bye, and cheers.
