Quest 3s Headphones?

EddZilla
Honored Guest

As the 3s does not have an Aux port.  What are the options for headphones? Can the 3s connect to Bluetooth Headphones or can I use USC-C Headphones plugged directly in?

Thank you 🙌

@EddZilla  you should be able to connect blutooth headphones to the headset, but there may be some audio lag unless you get recommended headphones to reduce this. You can also connect USB-C headphones to the headset but you may need a USB-C splitter with power delivery if you also want to charge the headset with a battery headstrap and use the headphones at the same time. You could also use a USB-C to 3.5mm adaptor and plug in 3.5mm headphones into that.

@EddZilla  additionally a USB-c splitter with data passthrough will allow you to use the headphone adaptor and charge the unit at the same time.

USB-C to 3.5mm audio jack with USB-C power passthrough for use with battery headstraps and headsphones - cheaper versions are available.

@EddZilla  This is probably the best all round solution for Quest 3s audio. It has an inbuilt DAC and power passthrough so it can still be charged with the headphones plugged in.
