Quest 3s right controller issue

I recently got a Quest 3s and played it about 2 times but suddenly the right controller wasn't working ive tried changing the battery and even the foil trick but it constantly flashes white and i cant even repair it as i hold down the b and meta button there's no vibration.

Hi there, @jmanruules!

 

We understand that you're having issues with your Meta Quest 3S right controller. We appreciate for performing some troubleshooting steps, and confirming that the white light constantly blinks and tried charging the batteries. We'd recommend you to consider the below (before giving it a go again):

  • Unpair and pair the controller to the headset. We'd recommend you to scout for 'Unpairing and re-pairing' within the simplified public article: How to use Meta Quest Touch Plus controllers, as this may come in handy
  • Remove unsupported third-party accessories that may affect power, battery fit, or controller detection. For example, rechargeable grips, controller covers, etc.
  • Replace the controller battery by a fresh one. Please let us know the LED status (blinking, solid, or no light at all) once you replace the old batteries with the fresh ones. 

    To change the battery in your Touch Plus controller:
  1. Press the battery cover release button located near the thumbstick on the side of your controller.
  2. Remove the battery cover.
  3. Carefully remove the existing battery.
  4. Insert a new battery, ensuring that the positive end is pointed downwards towards the bottom of the controller.
  5. Replace the battery cover.
  • Upon performing the above, prior to giving it a go again, we'd recommend you to perform a hard reboot.

If the issue still remains the same, we'd recommend you to answer the below to help us study the issue in-depth to offer other possible available options:

  • Are you using third-party accessories or covers with your device?
  • Have you dropped this device from a certain height or spilled any liquids on the device?

My son had a controller that continuously flashing, I tried to recalibrate, pairing and no such luck. So his controller is dead.  I had to buy him another controller.
