Quest Keeps saying I need to log in

I don't know what the *bleep* Meta did, but my quest 2 wont work anymore. All of a sudden it goes to a white grid room saying I need to take the headset off and log in. I logged in on my phone and the computer, restarted the headset 5x and it won't work. When I restart, for a second my home screen is there, then a big meta sign pops up and goes to the white grid room with a message that I need to log in...*Bleep*!!

So it fixed itself...kinda. The PC was not set up for air link and out of nowhere the headset kept launching airlink...it finally crashed and I got to my home screen. As long as airlink is off...my headset works again.

Does this come up with your computer off?

Sounds like the pc meta app is auto starting and trying to connect.

Who put time on 3x speed?!?

Has nothing to do with the PC...it was doing this when It was just turned on alone, when the previous day it worked fine. Then I opened the app on my phone and it shows the headset connected, but still does this. I only came on the computer to log in and get help, but the PC doesn't have a connection to my headset other than virtual desktop.

I’m unable to share the picture.

But if you go to google and type blank quest 2 link environment and go to images.

is this the environment that you’re seeing?

if so then your headset is linking to your pc automatically. Try having your pc off to confirm.

Worst case scenario, could try a factory reset. But only do that if you are at your wit’s end.

@iLLPut5AcrossYoEye We suggest trying a few things to resolves the issue:

  • Log out of your current account and log back in on your PC app.
  • Check your link cable for any faulty connection if using Quest Link. (Also check to see if this occurs with Air Link as well).
  • Factory Data Reset the device.
  • Make sure there isn't any alternate application running in the back ground that could be affecting the headset link quality. (STEM, etc...)

Let us know if any of these options work for you.
