Hi! Thanks for the quick reply. Here's what I have tried so far :

  • Repairing the Oculus App.
  • Reinstalling Asgard's Wrath, as well as deleting everything related in the C:\%user%\AppData folder.
  • Playing with a Link Cable instead of through Air LInk
  • Updating my graphics drivers to the latest (for RTX 3080).
  • Starting the Oculus App as administrator.
  • "relaxing" some of the graphics driver settings.
  • Decreasing the bitrate for Air Link

In the end, the only thing that worked - yes I finally did it - was to lower the game's graphic settings to "Medium". Seems that the problem only occurs (for me at least) during the first battle, with the Kraken. I think I have seen others with the same problem, but since there are no more patches for AW, I guess we just have to cope with it. I restored the graphics to "High" after that and everything as been running great, so far. Note that I'm only about 1-2 hours into the game...

Hey there @keko.19414! We're reaching out to help with your PCVR issue and we'll do our best to get you back to gaming!

Usually when we see crashing issues, we recommend repairing the PC app:

  1. Go to www.oculus.com/setup scroll down to the Quest 2 and click Download software.
  2. Select Repair.
  • If Windows asks you if you’re sure you want to open this file, click Yes.
  • If Windows Defender prompts Windows protected your PC, click More info and then click Run anyway.
  • If your antivirus software restricts the file from opening, temporarily disable your AV and continue.
  • Please remember to re-enable your antivirus software once you've completed the repair.

      3. Allow the repair process to run, download and install.

      4. Launch the Oculus PC app.

Please let us know if that helped resolve the issue! If not, send us a PM so we can gather more information from you. To send a PM, select our name to view our profile page or click here. Then select "Send a Message" to reach out to us privately. We look forward to hearing back from you!

Hi! I don't know if the OP has managed to fix his issue, but I have the exact same problem, however mainly with Asgard's Wrath. I'm almost always being disconnected after the game crashed. I can see "Oculus Link stopped working...." in the app's notifications. I have tried the repair method described above, without success. I've noticed an error message in a red banner on top, that states that the app is not compatible with the current hardware, which has never been a problem until now. I'm on version 56.0.0.109.155

Hey there @Neo1sTheOne! We know how finicky PCVR can be, and we're here to lend a helping hand!

Since you mentioned this was mainly occurring with Asgard's Wrath, can you try to uninstall and reinstall the app from your PC?

If that doesn't show any improvement, try reinstalling the Link driver on your computer. You can find the installable Oculus driver file at the following path: c:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-drivers\oculus-driver.exe. Let us know if you see any changes in your gaming experience!
