Hi.
I am really at the End of my Rope here.
I'm using a Quest 2 and since 2-3 weeks now i have the Issue that the Quest Link App is eating 100% of my RAM over 15-20 Minutes when i'm playing VRChat and completely freezes then.
I don't know why or what exactly causes the issue. My supposition lies on the Quest Link/Quest Link App because I don't have this issue while using Steam Link for example. (Can't use Steam Link because it isn't playable via cable and my wifi crap. Same for Virtual Desktop)
I tried everything i could think of and uninstalled and reinstalled everything (Meta Quest Link, graphics card, DirectX, Steam VR, VRChat) and I even made a factory reset on the headset itself.
Nothing worked.
Everything was running fine until 2-3 weeks ago and I myself changed nothing anywhere.
I would love to get any ideas.

i am haveing the same exact problem, i even upgraded my ram and still over time this stoopid app slowly eats all of my ram, only way to free up ram is by turning off the link.
i had 32gigs at first and over time it would slowly max out my ram, i then upgraded to 64 because maybe there was more needing ram but tgen the samd thing happened.

If you guys are using an AMD graphics card, I think that the driver may be the issue. I have an 7900xtx and I saw someone with 9070xt with the same issue as me with Meta Quest Link. I made a bug report because this has been happening for a while.

i fixed my problem by buying an Index from Tundra Labs and uninstalling Meta from my PC. xD they are selling them for about 260 bucks refurbed. havent had an issue since and i actually have more resources free'd up with higher resolution. its so blatantly Meta trying to bloatware you into upgrading your headset.

Having same issue right now. Slowing using up all my 32GB. As someone else have said, maybe relevant: I'm using AMD Radeon 7900XTX.

On Quest 3 btw

The fix is disabling smooth motion on steam vr. It wasn’t on there for me so I did it through ovr toolkit. That was a confirm fix from adrenaline driver’s patch notes
