I've been a Quest Pro owner for the past year and I noticed since moving to the Pro from my Quest 2, the Quest Pro controller batteries drain so fast while the headset is off. I keep them idle in an empty cardboard box in the dark where I used to keep my Quest 2 controllers.
I'm not sure what is causing the drain, from a full charge or maybe 90% when I use the Quest Pro, I put them away and a week later they are at 50% then after another week they drop to 5-10%.
It makes it difficult for me to want to use the headset knowing every time I do, the controllers will be dead or need a charge for a long play session.
The PSVR2 and Quest 2 I own don't have this issue :S

Hey @ROBYER1! We love to hear new ideas from the community! New ideas help Meta create new and improved products. We do love to hear that the community is involved in helping give feedback. Although you do have to turn the controllers off separately from the headset, this is something that would be great for our ideas forum so that our team can hear your thoughts and suggestions. I just wanted to update that I have realised from various sources online that the Quest Pro controllers do not turn off when the headset turns off. You have to manually hold the menu/quest button on each until they vibrate to turn them off. Why is this the behaviour for Quest Pro controllers but not other Quest controllers from past/newer models?
Is there any way I can raise this to support so that a software update could potentially allow the Quest Pro to turn the controllers off when shutting down?

Thanks for the tip - I have posted my suggestion/idea here
It should be a default expected behaviour for the controllers to shut down with the headset unless they have some reason to still be running while the headset is off. Or even an option for them to shut down fully once they haven't detected a headset after a few hrs or after a few hrs of sleep mode.
