I had a tracking issue with quest pro's controllers. There was about 11" of offset between the real ones and the virtual display. BIG difference!
After multiple resets nothing changed. I was getting very frustrated and was about to do a factory reset. I decided to check around the internet for some suggestions.
Apparently, since the controllers have cameras for sensing, they can be sensitive to light. My home office is located in my living room which has alot of large windows. So I took the headset into a darker room, placed the controllers behind my back and when I brought them forward they resynced correctly. Time will tell if they lose tracking again.

Have not used that device in a while due to the tracking issue. Will no longer be using it as I have a Q3 headset now. Thanks.

I just bought myself a pair of Quest Pro controllers and the tracking has sadly been unusable since day 1. I've tried all of the steps mentioned in these forums, but my Pro controllers when paired to my Quest 3 have terrible tracking where I either can't even see the controllers, or with enough restarts I eventually see them, but they are offset by about 6 inches on each hand.

Yeah Just do what I did, RETURN THEM ASAP don't ever buy them again, buy a quest 3 instead or any other pcvr if you are looking for good tracking and don't care about standalone

I have had the exact same problem with my Quest Pro's right controller. Did unpair and pair; Did factory reset; Cleaned all optics. However, changing light conditions do not work, and placing the controllers behind my back and bringing them forward to resync did not work.
