I bought the oculus pro controllers for the extra tracking and the heavier weight because I want to feel like I’m holding something. However recently I paired them to my quest 3 and they have been stuck flashing purple and white. I’ve tried resetting them to no avail, I have tried re pairing and it won’t even recognize the controllers and I am so mad that they stopped working.

Hello there, @gtsmith4455! We see that you have run into some issues with your newly purchased pro controllers. Thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting you have already tried as well as the color of the LED light on your controllers. The white and purple flashing lights on your controllers would indicate that your controller firmware is updating. You'll know the controller is done updating when the flashing stops, and it should show up in your VR. If you are still not able to see it, we suggest resetting your controllers once again, waiting 1-2 minutes, and trying to pair your controllers again. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if the issue persists so that we can continue to look into this for you. We look forward to hearing back from you soon!

The problem is that my controllers keep falling asleep and I don’t want to sit down and hold onto them for what feels like hours. What is completely happening is that no matter what they need to update but the controllers fall asleep and they stop updating.

Thank you for letting us know that the issue still continues, @gtsmith4455.
We understand that this is not the experience you were hoping for with some brand new Quest Pro controllers. We have a few more troubleshooting steps for you to attempt. Have the controllers plugged in while they update. If that doesn't work, please charge your controllers for 2 straight hours and continue to update the controllers.
Please keep us updated once you have attempted the troubleshooting steps. We eagerly wait to hear back from you soon!

META is intentionally damaging Quest Pro devices because they are out of warranty or because the update download originated outside of a supported country. They have put out a malicious update to purposely damage them so that users will have to spend more money with META. No Quest Pro user is going to buy a Meta 3 or a META 3 S. However, if the devices are intentionally damaged by the updates, you will be forced to buy another headset.
