Quest Pro - High Microphone Latency when using Airlink or Steamlink

When using the headset with Air link or Steam link my microphone has rather high latency, 1-2 seconds behind, which is not ideal for PC VR usage. Is there any way to reduce this? I have gigibit internet and a high end router so that shouldn't be a problem

Hey there @Vivi.Beast! We understand how having a delay while using your microphone can alter your experience in the wonderful world of VR. We'd love to assist you as best we can, so that you may continue your journey playing those fun games and apps. With that being said, we'd love to know what troubleshooting steps you've attempted so far. If you haven't already, please perform a hard reboot on your device using these steps:

  • Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound
  • If the boot-up sound is not heard:
  • Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  • Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
  • Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.​

After attempting a hard reboot, relaunch Air Link to recover audio. Let us know if this helps , as we're eager to help!
