Quest Pro controllers stuck on update after v57

Loki__VR

Hi,

Since my Quest 2 updated to v57, my Quest Pro controllers are stuck in update firmware. I tried to :

- unpair / pair my controllers

- factory reset my controllers

- charge them on the dock

- reboot my headset multiple times

- connect my headset to another wifi

- factory reset my headset

And I did all these steps again after I factory reset the Quest 2. It didn't solve the issue.

I can't even see any progress bar or percentage for the update. All I can see when I launch my headset is a notification "Controller update in progress - Left (Update starting...) Right (Update starting...)". Nothing else. And the controllers are not blinking when they are supposed to be updating : the led is fixed white.

So basically, my headset is unusable right now.

Hey there @Loki__VR! We see you are having some controller issues, we know proper function of any controller is an important part of VR and we would love to help you out!

As noted in another thread here: V57 release notes you are not the only user wish Quest Pro controller issues, however an update that seems to have come out earlier today (Sep/21) that resolved this issue for some users. Could you please try unpairing your Pro controllers once more, followed by restarting your Quest 2 headset? This should allow the controllers to properly grab the newest update and start working again.

If you are still having issues, please let us know so we can look into this further! We would also love to know if you get the issues resolved.
