Today was the day - My Quest 2 bit the bullet.
I had been enjoying a game earlier while also recording some footage, and after some time was getting a bit tired, so I decided to switch games and kick up my feet for a bit. While trying to switch games, I didn't realize I had just been sitting, staring at a loading screen for nearly 10 minutes.
Shortly after, I just shrugged it off and tried again, hoping the game would actually load this time, it didn't. I tried a few other games, but by then I couldn't keep patient. I restarted my headset since this usually does the deed, except now my headset had been completely different.
After the restart, I could immediately tell something was wrong just by the brightness and contrast of the screen (which looked like it was reverted to default values even though I had still been logged into my account) Anyways, before I let this post get too long, let me just get to the point. I put my headset back on in hopes of playing something and no, I was greeted with numerous error messages (some appearing more than others each time the headset restarted). These error messages appeared after I put in my password, and would then be followed by the headset restarting.
This is still happening as we speak and I already know what someone will suggest, a factory reset. While I would have done that if my Quest didn't have anything important on it, mine has too many hours of footage that I wont give up (and probably should have been backup/saved prior to). As of now, I have tried resetting, holding down power button and volume down (-) to get to boot menu, I've tried booting the device, and I've charged it fully using a proper cable/block.
Why do I think this happened? Probably because I thought it would be a good idea to record almost an entire session, so my storage most likely gave up and wasn't able to use any free space for system services/updates. I've tried plugging my vr into pc which does recognize it, but I can't allow access when prompted to share files because my vr will have already crashed/restarted.
Currently my headset is just a paperweight, but I won't go as far as doing a factory reset. I've already been suggested by a few people to use ADB commands to both try and dig my media out of the headset or to free up storage off the internal sdcard (since it does read 0gb of free storage which definitely may be a problem), but who knows how niche and widespread the cause could really be.
I'll look into more and do whatever I conclude is needed when I have some free time, but for now any suggestions are deeply appreciated. I know this occurrence of bootlooping and error messages has shown itself numerous times in this community, but uncovering an actual fix (aside from giving up - factory resetting) would be big news.

Hey @MetaQuestSupport, thanks for the response, however, since I’ve posted to this forum, I’ve found a fix that didn’t require a factory reset and have now resolved the issue.
Thanks again.

Hi there, @codenrogue! Making sure you're able to enjoy your VR experience to the fullest is definitely a priority for us, and we can absolutely help out if you are experiencing a similar boot loop issue! To start, we did want to let you know that a headset with a very low battery charge may power itself off, which could be mistaken for a boot issue if the headset is shutting down on startup due to insufficient battery charge. To be sure, have you been able to leave your device plugged into the provided or official charger for at least 2+ hours? Does the LED indicator light come on when plugged in? If so, we'd like you to test to see if you can get the boot menu loaded at all:
We look forward to hearing from you, so take your time with that and get back to us when you can!
