Quest cash not working!!!

Purchased £15 quest cash for my son. Added to his account. Go to buy something, it says quest cash available £15 but then says ‘add’ beside it and will not let me pay with the apparently available £15 that is in the account that I have paid for!!!! Not happy!!!! Why is it not working???!!! Absolutely fuming!! Can someone help me !!
