I have a laptop with a RTX 4090 . Oculus software is telling me that it doesn’t match the requirements. 4090…? And the update is not installing properly. What can I do?

Hey there, @timmtrevel, and thanks for reaching out to use with this! Installation errors are not a great experience for anybody, so be assured we'll be doing what we can to get you up and going as quickly as possible! As your graphics card does seem to be one that should be compatible, one thing you might try to get past the error is to verify you have the most updated version of your graphics card drivers (at times, an older driver might be read as incompatible). Another thing you should check is to make certain your PC is utilizing the correct GPU for the software to access. You can use Windows to do this by doing the following:
This should ensure that Windows uses your high performance settings with the Oculus app. Give this a shot, and if you are still having issues, please let us know and we'll look at other paths to getting this resolved! Hope this helps!
