Quest pro can't pair with controllers and my app

So my controllers was showing the overheat note all the time, then i saw fac reset can solve the problem, so i did, then i just thought clear out everything would be better, so i went to the web and wiped my pro out of my app. The first issue came out, the headset won't pair with the controllers, so i had to skip and use hand tracking mode then get to the code paring step, and the app won't pair with the headset either. The whole process i tried like 20 times  start form factory reset. also tried pair with aother pair of new quest pro controllers, same result. I found someone able to check the inside of the headset and the bluetooth part is fine and everything inside is not damaged. so it could only be something else, not a hardware issue.

you guys are giving the solution that doesn't work for anyone who is having this problem for more than 3 weeks and so far nothing!

Good Morning,

ok Status Report on that Issue.

After concentrated Discussions over 3 Weeks now with Specialist in Specialist Teams for specialised Problems (Movie: Naked Gun) snd they all tell me how important and „special“ my Problems is.

i give up and surrender … i will buy now a Big Screen … sorry in that long period of mails, pm and mails an pm …. I got a life to live and yeah  some from us have work too, i cant even remember when i got sn so terrible support and hey iam old enough to remember Telefon Hotlines….

anyway maybe Zuckerberg read this and we get carmack back and they will find out … that is not the produkt which fails it is the support which is killing this Future …

regards Lord_Trog

It's pathetic how bad their support is. I also have a 1300 u$d paper weitght due to not being able to pair with the app. I got past the initial set up by pairing with the Meta Quest Developers Hub windows app, but there's no way to pair the controllers with that app.

Hey something that maybe worked for me:

I unpaired the controllers, and then factory reset the headset. Even though they really want you to pair those controllers, you can, after a few iterations of them waiting for you to find your controllers, eventually run through setup using hand gestures. After I got all the way through setup and paired with the app, which I had deleted and reinstalled, then I used the app to pair the controllers, and it worked.

I had been able to get the controllers to work the first time before, only to stop tracking after I shut the headset down, but this time after turning the headset off and on a couple of times I seem to still have tracking controllers.  We'll see what happens next.

reposting this from earlier, this worked for me and has proven stable:

am facing the same **bleep** problem, trying to pair using the phone only gives me the cant pair yet message

what worked was using the meta developer hub, that made me get passed the code screen inside the headset but on the phone app it seems like the phone is able to see the headset only as its showing me connecting... and then thats it then sometimes shows syncing and then like 19 hours ago

i dont get wats going on cuz the phone clearly is seeing the headset it says nearby in green when my headset is on yet it aint connecting and it says not found in gray when i have my headset off plus i cant open the settings menu as well 😕
