It detect to "touching" the trigger when my index finger just close to the trigger and not touch it.
When I push the trigger then leave, it don't leave immediately in unless I fully open my hand to keep my index finger really far away from trigger, it makes me hard to switch my gesture from fist/thumb to point/gun.
Is this caused by touch pro's index finger tracking? Can I turn this this feature off?I just want my trigger touch response works like quest2 controller works.

So i got the Quest 3 on release date and don't have an issue with the controllers sticking but it STILL happens with the Quest Pro controllers paired to the Q3.
My disappointment is immeasurable.
You guys REALLY need to roll back to V45 for the controllers. This is absolutely not okay.

So, I now own a quest 3, and I tried pairing it with my quest pro controllers. Guess what? SAME PROBLEM.
I really regret buying those.

So i wanted to reach out again and state this.
This issue is still happening while using the quest pro controllers paired to the Quest 3.
I have done all the standard repair the controllers to the headset, reset firmware etc.
However funnily enough none of these issues happen with the Quest 3 standard controllers.
Imagine spending 300$ on a controller that doesn't even work right. I wish i wasn't stupid enough to think they could fix it in a timely manor. It's been nearly a full year and still no fix in sight.

Hey @Coffeepaws, I noticed this seems to still be ongoing for you, so I'm gonna get with the team for them to look further into your issue.
So that I can have the right information for them, could you answer these questions:

It's not just ongoing for me but for a plethora of other people. Sadly I don't know the exact firmware version of the controllers but I know it's been updated recently. I tried PTC and that fixed nothing.
I have tried literally all the steps I could ( you can see in my past posts ) and still nothing. Trust me I've done everything under the sun for these controllers.

Thanks for reaching out to let me know. As for the firmware version of the controllers, this should be found in the Meta Quest app under Devices > Headset Settings if I'm not mistaken.
Along with that could you let me know the current version number of your headset(s)?
This way I can get the right information they're looking for over to them.

I've had this problem since April, and it's only gotten worse with updates. Originally I could restart the controller (holding down for like 10 seconds), and that would mostly solve it until the next time I turned them on. Now it's constantly happening and restarts don't help. It seems to mostly happen when having my middle finger on the lower trigger and trying to use anything with the index trigger. If I have my middle finger completely off the lower trigger, the index trigger works completely fine (for example, doing a finger gun or point in VRChat vs the rock-n-roll or middle finger gesture respectively). Please fix this, because these controllers are great for the most part otherwise.
For any context, I use a Quest 2 with pro controllers and connect to the computer with a cable. I have tried all the usual solutions.

Hey again! I'm just checking to see if you were able to get the firmware for those controllers and the full headset serial number by any chance?

Hi there, obviously I'm not OP, but I'm one of many users facing the same issue and I don't want to see this thread die. Headset is running 59.0.0.163.706.533208642, not on PTC, and controllers are running 1.32.2. Let me know if there is any other info you need to progress this.

Hey hey! I don't want you guys to think we had forgotten or that this had died out. They're currently still looking into things but I don't really have much information to share at the moment.
As soon as I get something I'll reach back out!
