Quest3 Controller tracking instability issue

sriech

I am a foreigner and my English is not very fluent, so please don't mind my grammar and word usage mistakes.

I'm using Quest3, and my controller tracking is very poor, and it will drift from time to time. After testing, I learned that this may be because the controller tracking detects your real hand movements. I tried to turn on gesture tracking to test if the controller moves randomly after maintaining an action, and the result is that the trajectory of the movement is consistent with my state in the controller. So I suspect that it is because the controller detects my display gesture tracking that the tracking effect is extremely poor, even worse than Quest2.

My question is, how do I turn off the hand tracking when I use the VR controller? My environment is not bright enough to use hand tracking properly. I really want to turn it off.

it's not work. when i use hand controller, He still occasionally tracks my actual hand position

Thank you for giving that step a try! Since you mentioned that your play area did not have strong lighting, we encourage you to review our resource on improving tracking quality! In addition to improving lighting conditions, we'd also like you to try unpairing and re-pairing your controllers! Please give those a try and let us know if it improves your experience!
