Quest3 Elite Strap with Battery back screw loose

Hello, I haven´t use too much my Quest3, and the head support felt loose, so I checked, and that tiny screw was out, and I have to disassemble the plastic support to be able to screw it back, does anyone know how to do it? do I have to send it back to Oculus?

I forced and twisted a little the plastic holder from the back and I was able to use my 6-point screwdriver and fix it correctly.  And it worked fine without disassembling the back nor breaking anything.

What size screwdriver did you use?

Hello name100, I used a 6 star screwdriver, is not philips nor flat is another type. Luckily I had one in a set, you can find that type of screwdrivers in amazon or other places

Did you have any trouble getting the plastic piece back in? Same issue and I terrified to try prying that out.

Hello @stelcocci , if you refer to this plastic piece, that was the complicated part, I could not taking it out, so I had to make a lot of pressure to bend it like in the image to be able to screw it.

Could you please tell me exactly how you did this? I am actually having the exact problem right now. How do you use the screw driver to retighten it? I can see the screw that needs to go into the little hole but I don’t know how to tighten it. Any help would be really appreciated I really don’t want to have to deal with returning this one or getting a replacement 😞
