Quest Pro v71 update seems to have set the default refresh rate to 80/90hz from 72hz and now the homes screen runs very poorly as the device cannot hit that target frame rate.
Using sidequest you can set it back to 72hz to restore performance in the menu but it doesn't survive a reboot and for PCVR you need to then manually switch it to your target frame rate.
Meta, was this done by mistake? Can you please set it back 72hz by default!
I see that you're encountering some issues with the PTC v71. As v71 is unreleased and developmental software and is still currently in its development stage, you may encounter some issues and or bugs that may affect you're device's performance.
I'd like to ask if you could please send our engineering team a bug report to let them know about this issue so that they can look into resolving this!
