[RESOLVED] Can we delete all or some of the 'Not installed' items in the Oculus Library menu

PIXELATED

Title asks it all, i hope.
i have tried out many VR experiences and deleted them after trying, ABE VR being an example. If i let a person use my rift without me being there it would be possible for them to re-instal ABE VR just by going to the 'Not installed' section in the Oculus library.

It should be possible for us users to delete old references to uninstalled VR experiences and to be honest I fail to see the point of having them there at all. I have a good memory of what I didn't enjoy while keeping the best.

I've tried uninstalling Oculus (removed everything Oculus inc hidden files) and reinstalling it but I guess all the info of our old programs are attached to our accounts on a remote server somewhere buried deep in a desert and oculus simply digs them up and reinstalls them !

If anyone's found a way of deleting the old titles "Not installed" from the library menu permanently please tell me how you did it.

cheers

I tried deleting all of those  for mythos, in case that's what it uses to tell if something is not installed.  Nope.

Yup.. I tried that method too with no success, just before starting this question thread (-:
...there's a sneaky 'check ownership on server' file there somewhere and I want to edit it

Even if you install Home on a completely new PC, it will know what's in your library, which means that the file you seek is absolutely stored on the server side.

Your best bet would be to ask Support to remove the offending titles from your account (I know some Steam users have done this to get rid of games they really didn't want).  Or, you could just ignore the Not Installed tab.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

Just a simple 'delete history' option with regards to what one had downloaded, tried out and no longer want reminding of in 'Not installed' would suffice.

It's quite ironic that I'm now getting reminders to mark this thread as unanswered/answered. I see no option to mark it in anyway nor would want to mark it as answered as my old downloads are still displayed. There must be someone 'out-there' who know's the secret file to edit.. maybe it'll happen in a future Oculus update?

No must get back to enjoying CV1 VR

Oh boy.. (girl) delete as appropriate

My 'not installed' menu is now bigger than the 'installed' one.

I feel like i've been induced with OCD and certainly feel sympathy for those that have it already. PLEASE let us delete all the apps/programs/games that we hated from the 'not installed' list

This lack of choice is hurting my knees!

Sorry to harp on..

When a person starts using the CV1 they are going to install many things to try them out..

With third party apps/games etc u can delete them - everything - no problem - with out a trace

...but within Oculus home we can't and are reminded of what we tried to enjoy. My 'not installed' list is filled with 'meh' and unnecessary compared to the titles I chose to keep.

An option to delete tried-out apps/games is underrated

Ok,  so the way to get rid of such app is first to install them. once installed it will be removed from not installed folder. From installed tab it can be uninstalled and no more visible in account. There should be better way to get it remove directly from uninstalled folder at some point.

Why not have a simple filter such as Steam does? Removed titles are still available if needed under "Owned" and a list for those titles "Installed". If the content is sensitive in nature, perhaps a hidden list can be password protected. There just needs to be enough user requests to urge Oculus to implement it - no?

I need a way to delete past experiences, or at least a Purchased filter.
