[RESOLVED] Can we delete all or some of the 'Not installed' items in the Oculus Library menu

PIXELATED

Title asks it all, i hope.
i have tried out many VR experiences and deleted them after trying, ABE VR being an example. If i let a person use my rift without me being there it would be possible for them to re-instal ABE VR just by going to the 'Not installed' section in the Oculus library.

It should be possible for us users to delete old references to uninstalled VR experiences and to be honest I fail to see the point of having them there at all. I have a good memory of what I didn't enjoy while keeping the best.

I've tried uninstalling Oculus (removed everything Oculus inc hidden files) and reinstalling it but I guess all the info of our old programs are attached to our accounts on a remote server somewhere buried deep in a desert and oculus simply digs them up and reinstalls them !

If anyone's found a way of deleting the old titles "Not installed" from the library menu permanently please tell me how you did it.

cheers

Just sign up for an account there and start by voting on other requests. Lots of things are in there already, so doing a search may find the thing you're looking for. I haven't done too much with it myself, but it doesn't look any more complex than this forum or anywhere else. Thanks.

'Complex' is subjective - but it's worth a go..

I'll be back here in six months if Oculus can't work out how to remove their customers history at request (-:

How can this possibly not be fixed yet? @PIXELATED I feel your pain. This is such an obvious function that would be preferred by most people that it makes for one of the most ridiculous oversights I've encountered. So much so that I'm beginning to feel like it's actually not an oversight at all. Does keeping these games/apps increase the chances that you'll revisit and maybe purchase or something? Whatever the reason, something else is going on here...

There is still the same problem in 2024 you can only hide the apps but not remove them from the home page.

Which I don't understand I don't need a reminder of every crappy app I installed on my home page even if I could hide.

Imagine that on your phone every time you install and uninstall an app the icon will remain on your home screen waiting for you to tap it and download it again.

This issue should be a tab in the Meta store something like history > recent download & buyer.

Also in the Meta Horizon app in device > manage application shows all installed or not installed applications at the same level which I find super annoying.
