I was fortunate enough to get an RTX 3070, upgrading from my previous gen RTX 2070.. Everything has gone well with the exception of my Rift S.. It would seem that the Oculus software is not recognizing the new card properly and I only get a blank/black screen on the headset.. I've tested the unit on my son's PC that now has my old 2070 and the Rift S works perfectly.. Both computers are running the same nVidia drivers and Oculus software revision, so there's no issues there, leading me to believe that it's the new card and that Oculus hasn't yet implemented support for it.. Can we get some sort of timeframe on when an update will be released that fixes this issue??
When do users learn that it takes Oculus months to support new video cards? If you choose to be an early adopter, you choose to have a VR rig that may not work correctly for months. 2c.
