I recently upgraded my graphics card to the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080. Since then my oculus rift has stopped working. Whenever I enter a game, I get the famous orange blinking LED and a black screen.
Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue with the new drivers or just the graphics card in general?
I've tried updating all my drivers and reinstalling oculus and many other possible solutions, but nothing has worked. This is why I'm suspecting it has something to do with the newer 3080 drivers.

If that works you may need to try a different cable or get a powered one.Otherwise update drivers and do this stuff.

IanW (Oculus Support) Nov 25, 2020, 4:03 PST Hi David, Thank you for reaching back out with that update. As Lorraine mentioned in her previous responses, this card is not yet supported for this device. That doesn't mean it's not powerful enough to run VR, just that there may be compatibility issues with the graphics drivers. As she said, I believe your best solution would be to attempt to reach out to NVidia for any potential solutions they may have, or potentially attempt to rollback the driver to an older version. Aside from that, unfortunately we cannot guarantee functionality with a graphics card that is not officially compatible with our products. Please feel free to reach back out should you have any further questions or concerns in this matter, we really appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. Best wishes, Ian Oculus Support | Facebook Reality Labs |
