Hello,
I've got a new XPS laptop (2023) with an RTX 4070, i9 CPU, 64GB ram, win 11 and have been chatting with support and still get this message when I open the PC oculus app. Already went through the standard support channel and submitted logs and manually assigned the high-end card to this app and the issue still persists. Has anyone been able to resolve this? Thanks for reading and your consideration.

I did this and I even disabled my intergrated GPU and the problem still persists.

Sadly I'm not getting any help here. Once per week I get an email from a different staff member recommending I perform the same series of troubleshooting. Either uninstalling and reinstalling the software or manually pointing the application to the high-end GPU, and of course submitting the logs. I have done this about 6 times and it's not solving the problem. Is there nothing more that we can try?

Hey there, @pj39Jameson! We'd like to make sure our users have all the information they'll need for a successful PCVR gaming experience, so we wanted to pop in to share some insight. To clarify a bit, we'd like to let you know that currently the GPU NVIDIA RTX 4070 should be compatible with the newest v62 headset update. We recommend making sure your Meta Quest mobile app and headset are completely updated to the latest software version using these steps. For more information on what this software update offers, please check out this article, and let us know if you run into any further issues. We'll always be glad to hear from you!

I just tried to update my headset however it says there is no update available and I'm running version 60. I'm guessing that's because the update hasn't pushed to Canada yet? Also, the error I'm seeing is on the PC application, not on my headset. Is there a newer version of the PC app coming out that will eliminate this error and the error message every time I boot the app up?

I attempted to use the official Oculus Link cable and had the same performance issues and the problem is still displayed on the PC app.

I'm having the same issue with a Dell XPS 17 with Intel i9 and RTX4070. The PC app says my system is not compatible with Rift (a bit outdated warning?) and I'm unable to launch anything from the Library. I'm using the official USB Link cable.

Hey there, @pj39Jameson and @virtualHCG! We want to follow up everyone to see if you've yet received the latest v62 update? According to our Release Notes this update started rolling out Feb 7, and we sure hope it's made it to you both! Once you've received it, please let us know if you're still encountering this error.

Hey all, we wanted to pop back in and make sure you'd seen our recommendation to update to v62 to see if that helps, given all you've already tried? Please reach back out once you've had a chance to apply this latest update.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out. So far the problem persists and I have v62 on both the Windows laptop and the Quest 3. The Meta Link Windows app claims my system is not compatible, as explained in this thread. This is a 2023 Dell XPS laptop with Nvidia RTX4070 (dual GPU with also an Intel Iris Xe), 32GB of RAM, Intel Core i9-13900H. The specs are perfectly capable of handling VR applications, and I'm able to run Steam VR apps using Steam VR or directly launching the exe via Windows Explorer of the ones installed through the Meta library. I'm able to access the Meta (or Oculus) Home in VR so Link works over USB. It is just your application claiming my system is not compatible and refusing to launch applications through the Oculus Home.
