How did you set it up so you can share apps with multiple headsets?

App sharing is only possible on a single device at a time, with multiple accounts. More information on this can be found here. If you have multiple devices, you can switch which one has app sharing enabled. We also have a great article on having multiple accounts as well, which may be useful.

On the Quest 2 under Settings there's Accounts towards the bottom. Clicking that, it should show your user profile as Admin, and buttons to enable app sharing and adding more accounts.

 

If anyone does this from today on, I'm very curious to hear if it actually works. I'm under the impression Quest 2's are broken on Meta's servers (or Meta is planned obsolescing them) and when I try to do App Share it fails, and adding another account says something went wrong.

2. Headset is up-to-date (v64), but this has been happening to me since somewhere in version 40 or 50

3. I was able to use App Sharing on this headset (128 GB) in the past, and also a 64 GB headset

I do not like the answer since it requires me paying for the same apps twice but I appreciate an answer.
