Re: Oculus Pro controller stuck on 0% update

Hi

recently purchased the pro controllers for my son, who has a quest 2. The issue, which I see is the most common on here is the syncing and update issues, which we are still facing

foenrhe past 3 days I’ve unpaired the controllers, left them on charge, factory reset them, reset the quest 2 and every possible solution I have read that could fix this, however they are still stuck on the purple flashing icons and 0% update.

the quest 2 has the latest software installed and yet nothing.

is there truly a fix for this or do these controllers need to be sent back until the software, and all of the teething problems have been resolved?

not sure I can physically spend another minute trying to fix this issue as it’s clearly not something I can do,  Meta this is your problem and shockingly it appears you don’t really have the answers

if there is another solution that I’ve not yet seen please do provide me with this help, failing that these controllers will be winging. Their way back to you for a full refund, seriously disappointing given the cost of them and the amount of wasted time I and a lot of other loyal customers have spent trying to work this out

Im having a problem where my meta quest right pro controller wont pair and instead its blinking a pink light

Hey there @Ytncrock445! We know having both controllers greatly enhances the experience and we would love to team up with you to see what we can do for you. The blinking pink/reddish light is more than likely an indicator that the battery is low on the controller. As for the pairing issue, can you answer the following questions for us:

  • Are you using the controller(s) with a Quest Pro, Quest 3 or Quest 2 headset?
  • Are you using any third-party accessories on your controllers?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

We look forward to your reply and to explore all possible next steps!
