My son has a supervised account and has permission to download and use Rec Room. It will not load and gets stuck at the “three dots” then pops up a message saying he has to turn on Developer Mode. Of course he can’t do that because it’s a supervised account. I’ve tried all the solutions here: making sure microphone is enabled, deleting and reloading, rebooting, etc. Incredibly frustrating!

I had this problem with my sons account. Go in to apps and click on the 3 dots of upper right hand corner or rec room. Turn on microphone and storage and it worked right away. In case you download gorilla tag, it will say the same thing and microphone will need to be turned on.
