Referrals gone after vacation

I went on a vacation to Cambodia, after being there for some time my referral button disappeared because Cambodia is not a supported country. Now that I'm back in Denmark the button is still gone and I can't seem to get it back!?

do you mean the referral button in mobile app?

You can try uninstall and reinstall the app on the phone.

Maybe after reinstalling the app when being in Denmark, it will appear again.....it's not a guarantee though, just a try

I'm sorry...... sometimes the solution is that easy and sometimes not🙁

Send a PM @MetaQuestSupport 

so they can look in your account and see what's going wrong with the referral option.

Click on the name to visit their profile page, then click the "send a message" button.

In addition, we would be grateful if you double-checking that you both meet and completed all of the steps mentioned in the program rules below:
 

Program Rules

  • To make a referral, customers must have a registered Quest 2, Quest 3 or Quest Pro
  • The recipient's Meta account cannot already be associated with any Meta Quest devices.
    • Older Oculus devices (such as the Oculus Quest 1) should not make a referral ineligible.
  • The referral recipient must be registering a new Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 or Quest Pro.
    • The device must be new, not refurbished, and not previously registered to another account.
  • Both accounts must be in a Meta Quest supported country.
    • They don't need to be the same country.
    • The system will automatically convert the referral credit to the currency used by the Meta Quest store for the customer's location.
  • Both the referrer and the recipient must be at least 18 years old (19 in South Korea)
  • The referral code must be applied before setting up the new Quest device.
