Referred App keeps showing Invalid Link

I'm currently having a problem on any app referral links. It keeps showing me an Invalid Link page regardless of who send me a referral link. I've already tried unlinking my Meta account out of my Facebook account and have tried using private/incognito browser to accept the referral link. Unfortunately, they still gives me Invalid Link page.

This is nonsense, and keep getting different messages on this.  The header of the link in a web browser title also still states 25% discount but the page does not.  If this was the case then why are we still able to refer, it is part of the same referral scheme.  They obviously dont "rotate" the selected groups, The referral scheme is clearly broken for many, or the goalposts have changed and no effort has been made to explain this!  (For example, I may likely have spent over £400 using referrals this year, around the same sort of limit as can earn yearly with referrals.....so COULD it be a chance that you have introduced a limit on purchases as well as the actual referral earnings limit, either in error or not bothering to add it to your T&Cs?  

Also testing identical working link between my account, and partners account, same device, same valid link, same IP etc

I don't think this response really makes any sense.  Does or does not Meta have an app referral program?  Is it only available to certain users, but it's advertised to all?   I think it's time to take this issue to andrew.bosworth@fb.com.  I encourage the users on this thread to the same - remember be civil.

Hello everybody! I noticed that this issue has been popping up for a lot of y'all. We did some digging and got word from the team that the Meta Store is evaluating some changes to the App Referral program.

Due to this, some user groups will be randomly unable to access App Referrals. However, these groups change frequently, so if you can't get the referral to work now, don't worry, as you will be able to soon. They also confirmed that the invalid links you all are getting is to be expected while this evaluation is happening. I also want to recommend keeping an eye out for similar options from your group in the future.

I hope this was insightful information for y'all about the App Referrals.

To me this reads as Meta testing whether to discontinue their app referral program altogether.

They've now confirmed that this isn't a bug. Instead, we're part of a test and we got put into the group that isn't allowed to redeem referrals... 

Would be nice if they gave us some sort of credit as a gesture of good will, but I doubt that will happen. Our only recourse is to not buy anything and hope the test results are skewed enough for them to reinstate our referral access.

They keep on trying to close my ticket then merged it here. They want toake sure the SOL GROUP IS ALSO CORRALLED IN ONE TINY THREAD HAHAHA maybe they can call us the sheep or herd group.  But I like the name S.O.L. Group it has a ring to it.

Well I spoke to two other people and their same issue was merged into this one, with mine and it appears to be resolved? S.O.L. Group is being corralled.

Kind of a joke to suggest you might regain access to getting referrals when I've been trying everyday for a month now. Also labeling the thread to have a known solution that just says there is a solution being worked on. I don't understand the logic behind that damage control. If you're getting invalid link you're screwed until they fix it if they don't completely retire the program all together.

Sounds like Meta is not making enough on apps so they are restricting discounts, IMHO.
