Hello everyone,
I observed that fellow moderator @ShiroTenko has responded to a few of you already. However, I wanted to create this post and designate it as a solution to ensure that everyone is aware of the information provided by the engineers. While I understand that this is not a solution, it is the best way to guarantee that all users can easily view the post.
The engineers are evaluating changes to the app referrals program. As a result, some randomly selected groups of users may periodically not be able to access app referrals.
These user groups change frequently, and if an offer is not currently available to you that is available to others, this means that offer is not being given to your group at this time. Please keep an eye out for similar options in your group in the future.
Thank you again to everyone who has reported your experiences during these changes. Your feedback is always important to us.

Everytime i open a refferal to to a game i get the message, that the link is not valid anymore.
1. Click on referral link
2. Link pages open with button either to claim 25% or 10% discount
3. Click on the discount button (every discount button i tried)
4. Message "Link is not valid anymore."
Afaik there is no such thing like a limit how often you can buy a (referral-link)- discounted game. Or is there a limit that is not communicated?

Hi there, @Amazing74. App referrals are a great way to earn some extra store cash and discounts. We know how important it is to our users to be able to share app referrals with each other. That being said, we wanted to share some info from the terms of service for the referral program.
"Limit to one Discount per App: if a Friend accepts a referral from an Advocate for a particular App, the Friend will not be able to activate a Discount for the same App referred by a different advocate as long as the former Discount is still active. This limitation will remain in effect until the seven-day period is completed. If the original Discount code has expired after seven days, the Friend will be able to accept a new referral for the same app."

Sorry for the late answer. I am aware, that there is a limit per link. But like i wrote in my initial post: It is the same with EVERY link. So no, that wasnt helpfull at all.

Thank you for clarifying about this situation. In your case, is the friend trying to send you a new link they generated at the time you go to claim the discount, or is this one that had been generated previously they are just now sharing with you? If it is an older referral link they had and are just now sharing it, we would recommend trying a new referral link to see if that gets around the issue.

I've got a similar problem, but instead of the discount page, I'm always redirected to the invalid-link page https://www.oculus.com/referrals/error/?error_type=invalid_link
If I open up the app referral without being logged in, it shows the correct 25%-off website with the need of logging in. If I do log in, it will redirect me to the mentioned error page afterwards.
I've got the problem with any 25% link of my friends and it with any browser / device (double checked it on iPhone and even on the Quest Browser as well). Deleting Cookies didn't fix it. So it seems like an account-based problem.
Any news about that, Meta-Support?

I am having this problem too, and after discussing it with MetaQuestSupport (who was helpful and responsive!) they recommended I submit a bug report, which I did. So for anyone coming here with this issue and seeing this topic, hope this gets fixed for us!
