Yeah, game refunds are NOT a substitute for TRIALS ... Oculus/Steam suffer a loss (debit transactions/PayPal charges) etc each time ... The Oculus store is NOT a public library. Refunds are there as a safeguard for the consumer, not to be abused or used as TRIAL game system. Some research and reviews usually help with an informed decision.
This is why we can't have nice things 😞
Where does it say you can't try the game & return it? That's exactly how it is used in Steam. Reviews & research are actually useless in making an informed decision. It's worth noting that i have purchased over 230 games in the Oculus store its not like i do not buy them. La Noire is the latest game i want to return, i did read the mixed reviews on Steam but thought a. It's worth a try as its now been out a while & the devs should of ironed out issues & b. Oculus allows me to return it. I would of just purchased it on steam instead if we are not allowed to return games here.

@nrosko I didn't say you cant refund a game, I said that its a feature to protect the consumer but should not be used as a Trial Game system. Steam also has a theoretical limit. Refunds are not, try before you buy.
Like anything, it should be used in moderation and with common sense.
From Steam FAQ: "If it appears that you are abusing the refund system, we reserve the right to revoke access to this feature."

You can request a refund for nearly any purchase on Steam—for any reason. Maybe your PC doesn't meet the hardware requirements; maybe you bought a game by mistake; maybe you played the title for an hour and just didn't like it.
It doesn't matter. Valve will, upon request via help.steampowered.com, issue a refund for any reason, if the request is made within fourteen days of purchase, and the title has been played for less than two hours.
Refunds are designed to remove the risk from purchasing titles on Steam—not as a way to get free games. If it appears to us that you are abusing refunds, we may stop offering them to you. We do not consider it abuse to request a refund on a title that was purchased just before a sale and then immediately rebuying that title for the sale price.
The oculus policy doesn't state that you can't either although it's not as clearly stated.04-03-2018 12:38 PM

Wow you really own 230 items from the store? That is like owning all the games from the store o.o no way!! XD That is neat if you really do own all of them and not just returning them/recycling through them:)

That is 'your' interpretation of abusing the system. I would say that using it to try a game out is not abusing it at all. It is quite clear in steam policy that they are perfectly happy for you to return a game if you don't like it.You can request a refund for nearly any purchase on Steam—for any reason. Maybe your PC doesn't meet the hardware requirements; maybe you bought a game by mistake; maybe you played the title for an hour and just didn't like it.

Abuse

If you want free games there are obviously much easier ways than using the refund policy.
It's worth noting that most of these games on home are fairly cheap in comparison to say a AAA game so making one purchase a week isn't crazy & any refund will mean i will buy something else with that money.
If there is a limit that is fine with me but i would like to know what it is to avoid that situation.

In UK there is no limit to any refunds and the item is guaranteed for 1yr plus a general refund policy of 2 to 4 weeks.

Any written supposed conditions that break this break the law including requests to make the customer pay for any Returns which is also a breach of the Long Distance Sales Conditions by law.
