We are aware of an issue affecting some users with Wi-Fi 7 routers/Access Points after the recent software release. Our team is working diligently to resolve this problem, and an updated software release with a fix will be available shortly.
In the meantime, we recommend trying the following remediation options to help mitigate the issue:
Note: This option requires creating a new network without any security settings. Please be cautious when using this option, as it may compromise your network's security.
Steps:
Steps:
Follow your router's user guide for specific instructions
Steps:
Important: Once the updated OS release with the fix is available, you will no longer need to use these remediation options. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue.
**WPA3-Personal - Some of the routers may have WPA3-personal and WPA3-mixed mode. In case the WPA3-Personal mode does not work then do the same steps for WPA3-Mixed mode

Meta should do a feature freeze for a couple of releases and concentrate on fixing bugs.

Yeah my link software updated yesterday, went to use it today... took forever to open and load (when it would normally loads up with windows) and doesnt acknowledge the quest is connected once it does.

Confirming I have the exact same issue on my Quest Pro with v77 PTC. Wi-Fi speed is still completely broken. It's absolutely maddening and unbelievable that such a critical bug not only wasn't fixed from v76 but is being carried over, possibly even to the public release. I have ~zero confidence this will actually be fixed in v77.

Metas tech support is also confused and mixes up issues.
I wrote to Meta tech support stating that the Wi-Fi download speed on the Quest Pro is limited to around 400 MBit/s. I also included a comparison image where I compare the download speed of my Quest Pro and my Quest 3 (which is working fine, 1600MBit/s downstream) on the same network under the same conditions. However, the tech support thought it was about this Wi-Fi 7 issue and closed the case.
It looks like they don't even know that there are currently two separate issues with the Wi-Fi connection and one only occurs only on Quest Pro.
Then V77 PTC released on Quest Pro and the buggy and limited Wifi Downloadspeed on Quest PRO carried over to V77 ... 🤢
