My name is Terry. I am a 64 year old grandmother who has a Meta 1 which belonged to my grandson. My grandson has graduate to the Meta 3 (I think). The Meta 1 has been sitting in my closet for a few years now. I want to reset it for a younger grandson but no one remembers the login and password. I got it for my older grandson for Christmas and his mother set it up for him. She doesn't remember what she did. Is there any way that it can be reset? Please help me. I paid $499.00 for that thing years ago. I would like for someone to use it. It is practically in new condition.
I see the factory reset instructions but I can't log in at all. Any Suggestions. Thank you.
@flyboy.255759 Once you've factory reset your headset [see link below] you'll have to pair it with the mobile app.
Unfortunately, the current mobile app doesn't work with the original quest, so you'll need to download an older version of the app either directly to your android phone or download it to PC and dump the app .APK file onto your phone manually and run the app .APK file to install it on the phone. It sounds complicated but it's just simple steps. Links to the older app .APK files in the linked thread. You'll also need to set up a meta horizons account on the phone to pair to the headset.
