Reset view horizontally to floor

Hello,

I'm afraid the question is a bit similar to an existing one here: https://communityforums.atmeta.com/t5/Get-Help/Views-are-not-reset-correctly-in-meta-quest-3/td-p/11...

However, since it's a bit outdated, I'm posting a new one to ask if it is possible to reset the view but only horizontally to floor.

To be more clear, it's more like

1) Re-centre the view to my current position;

2) set the horizontal level of the headset to the floor (so that headset is parallel to the configured floor, no matter if my head is in a tilted position or not)

It's important because my eyes can really tell if it's level or not, but my neck muscle are just not precise enough to keep that position when resetting.

We understand you are having an issue with your headset tracking and resetting this doesn't seem to be resetting properly.

 

It may be worth trying to reset your boundary history:

Bear in mind that if you have multiple accounts on the same headset, boundary history will be cleared for all accounts, not just the account you are currently using.

  • Press the Oculus/Meta logo on your right controller
  • Click on the clock on the left side of the universal menu
  • Select Settings
  • In the settings panel, select Boundary
  • Select 'Clear Boundary history'
  • Redraw your Guardian boundaries by selecting 'Adjust Boundary' from the Boundary settings menu

If the issue persists you could try double checking your tracking in the settings:

  • Click on the clock on the left side of the universal menu
  • Select Settings
  • Select System from the Settings panel
  • Select Headset Tracking from the left side panel
  • Make sure Headset Tracking is ticked
