Resident Evil 4 continually fails to download at 4.2 GB, Meta Support won’t pick up so i’m going here after a month. Everything else downloads fine, hell, even games that require more space download perfect, it’s just RE4 is a problem child. I do not know what causes this.

To solve this, Meta helped me in PMs by simply saying to turn my internet on my headset off and back on. I don’t understand why that helped other than possibly resetting the download cache.

I just updated my headset, still doesn’t work, there is no error message, the download just stops and shows the grayed out version of the app icon, but in notifications it appears as if the download is still going.

Hello!
1, I am downloading the game from the library menu, so yes
2, I don’t quite understand your phrasing however my headset is on the latest version with no errors as it seems
3, Every other application works fine
4, Only Resident Evil 4
5, It started about a month ago
6, I may have updated my system version to v65 a day or two before
7, The home environment and everything else visible glitches out around that 4.2 GB threshold

After taking a look at your answers to the questions, we suggest restarting your headset and logging out of the Meta account to see if you're able to see the game appear in your library. If the app is grayed out, it more than likely has already been purchased and could be a glitch. Please follow the suggested steps below:

What we recommend next would be for you to submit a bug report with the developer.. Here's the website https://www.armature.com/games/resident-evil-4/. At the bottom of the page it is an email where you can contact them. Hope this information was helpful.
