Resident Evil 4 continually fails to download at 4.2 GB, Meta Support won’t pick up so i’m going here after a month. Everything else downloads fine, hell, even games that require more space download perfect, it’s just RE4 is a problem child. I do not know what causes this.

Hi!
I checked the associated Zendesk for Armature Studios and it appears the associated support email was shut down. I don’t know how else to contact the developers as I do not use social media.

Hey there @CatGamer1000! Just wanted to double check some things with you. How much storage do you have left on your device?

Hello!
I have about 70 GB on my device, which is about 63 GB more than it needs.

Thank you for providing that over to us.
When trying to download the game, how long does the bar stay at 4.2 GB, or does the bar quit entirely and start over again?

The bar inconsistently either automatically cancels the download or gets stuck at 4.2 GB.

Thank you for that information. Earlier in our messages, you mentioned that your headset is on v65. Are you able to update to v66 yet? It's rolling out, so it may be available for you, and you may be able to get the game to download after the update. If you're able to update, but the issue persists, we would recommend trying to contact the developers through social media. We know that you had said you don't use it, but those appear to be the last available options to reach them via their official website.
We hope this information helps! If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

I may not have mentioned it earlier, however I did update to v66 and the issue did persist, i’ll see what I can do.

Thank you for coming back to us and giving us an update @CatGamer1000 . We have another suggestion for you to try. You can try to do a factory reset and see if this resolves the issue. Do keep in mind that doing a factory reset will cause all data to be deleted. To be certain that you don't lose any game data, you can make sure that your cloud backup is active. Please let us know if this helps you out.

Hello!
That does sound like it could work, however, as I am a developer, I want to save the data on my headset from the Unknown Sources directory. Under normal circumstances, I would back up the data on my headset to my computer, but due to Google’s anti-modification decision, I do not know if my files in Unknown Sources will be able to be saved.

That's totally understandable. Just know we are here to continue assisting you if you decide to move forward with the factory reset.
