Hello,
I have had this happen a few times since 2016. In 2021 it took nearly a year off and on for my Oculus library to return. That was the longest stretch without being without my PC games.
Today I launched the Meta Quest app on PC and once again my entire library is gone. I have about 1T downloaded of applications but most of them I get entitlement check errors (same problem years ago) when launched from the folder.
Was there a recent update that messed up libraries? Library is present for Meta Quest 3/2 and gen1 but PC is entirely gone. Every title I search for in the store does not have have an option to download as well.
I am using the same PC machine and windows 10 as when I first got the Rift S. I now also have a high end PC I use with Steam which also doesn't show my library.
Disappointed this is happening again.
EDIT: This time when I updated to the Public Test Channel and reinstall the library reappears. This must be due to a recent update if others are experiencing the same.
EDIT: Second edit: I posted below but it appears this fix was temporary. PC Library is gone again with both regular update and Public Beta test update selected.

My library is no longer populating once again on PC. This has been an ongoing issue off and on since 2021. This is for PC ONLY and nothing to do with Quest please note. The library however doesn't populate either in the Rift S section of the mobile app. It only spins.
It seems selecting the "Beta Test Channel" option worked in May when this problem happened this spring. This no longer works. I believe there was either an update for link or there simply isn't a working update in the beta test channel.
I believe I have somewhere near 4-600 applications purchased and free since the dawn of Oculus VR.
I know this has been ongoing for years but has anyone found a recent fix to this? I have now tested on 3 PCs with the same outcome of no library populating. I no longer purchase PC titles due to this issue but just two days ago installed the cross-buy titles of Ghost of Tabor, Arizona Sunshine 2 and Breachers, so this is especially annoying. I have never had this issue on any of the Quest headsets. Link is worthless without access to the PC library. When I go to purchased titles, they are all greyed out in the store just like the issue back in 2020. When I launch a downloaded title from a folder, I get an entitlement error which I expected as well from previous years.
In settings all my folders show 0 apps, where I had near 100 installed. When I re-add the folders with the downloaded applications it again fails to add.
Is there a way to get a past update installed that populated the library? Any other suggestions? Yes, I have reinstalled the app several times, checked updated drivers on all PCs and the basics generally recommended. Newest graphic card is a 4070 with updated drivers so there shouldn't be an issue there. The others are a 1080 and 1060 which replicated identical problem.
EDIT: Library is gone as of 7/20/24 again. Test Beta option in Settings no longer works to populate library, nor does downloading a "free" title. Infact, most are all greyed out after this trick was the one that had worked before. All cross-buy titles greyed out as well in the store.

I agree. However, this is the exact same problem I am having even with online functionality. I haven't gotten a resolution in 4 years and the problem keeps coming back. I have had more time without any purchases showing up in my library than the time they do show up. It seems to happen every couple updates. I no longer purchase pc titles for this reason (I use Steam) but I would like to play some cross buy titles I purchased on quest and my old library with some great titles such as Stormlands.

I should note on the Mobile Meta app, the RIFT S library also does not populate but spins. The Quest library populates as usual.
Also on mobile:
From the store there are some free apps, when I click to launch it says "Install and start apps for the Rift or Rift S on your pc. Remote launching is not yet available.". So that hasn't been updated in half a decade I imagine. It seems like they have completely abandoned PC functionality whether it be cross buy or old purchased PC only titles.

Hey everyone! Thanks for taking the time to flag this with us. If you're currently running into some issues, I do recommend taking a look at the workaround and bug report links in the solution posts.

Thank you for the response. My apologies for keep bringing up this frustrating issue. The library returned today but the fix didn't make much sense. I simply clicked a free app in the store, installed it and sure enough the entire library returned. I am not using the beta test channel at this time but that was a previous fix as that version worked. I will remember this for next time and maybe be of use for others.
One thing I should note and maybe others have also saw this is that the mobile app also doesn't populate the library in the Rift S section. I thought that was odd behavior as it just spins.
Problem is solved for the time being. I will go through all trouble shooting steps if it's a problem that comes up again. I have no idea why this happens sometimes for weeks if not months at a time. I saw some have had this issue on the Quest headsets as well which surprisingly I have never experienced thankfully.

Hey @shogunmn, thanks for getting back to me. No worries, it is pretty odd that this comes and goes but I'm happy to hear that solution worked out for you.
I'll go ahead and mark your comment as the solution in the meantime. If this does come up again I would definitely recommend submitting a bug report for PCVR, as well as on the Meta Quest mobile app. This way they'll go straight to the engineers with all of the information they'd require.

You got your library back!
I'm so happy for you @shogunmn
I had never thought that you can solve that with such a simple step👍

Hi @TheAntiSocializer this issue is still a thing. I've tried both the non PTC and PTC software. I'm currently on Meta Quest Link app version 68.0.0.325.361 (68.0.0.325.361) and meta PCVR games are still missing when the PC is offline.

The problem returned with the bricked library (library gone) after recent update when updated in addition. It never matters if online or offline. Test Beta Channel trick no longer works, downloading a free title no longer works to populate library. I have given up with the Oculus PC side as the library vanishes every single update for weeks until a "trick" is found. Fortunately, Steam library always works where I now buy PC titles. I'll miss Lone Echo, Stormland, Asgards Wrarth and all Quest cross buy titles but it's no longer worth the hassle every few weeks or going through the ticket process with no resolution. Interesting how this has never occured on the Quest headsets, just the PC app over the years for my case.
Found this old video I recorded 2.5 years ago and it's the exact same issue. Unbelievable this is still an issue. PC Oculus VR App: Version 37 problems. Library fails to populate. Store grey's out past purchase. (y...
