Is anyone working on the Quest 3 elite battery issue? It charges but won’t connect to the headset for more than a few seconds, meaning you cannot charge through the back port.

I contacted support quoting the email today and great news, they said they are now doing that with Elite Straps, dunno why the forum is making the screenshot blurry but there we go:

It’ll be interesting to hear from those of you who are getting replacements directly from meta if the new headset isn’t exhibiting the same issues or not. My Amazon replacement lasted 3 days before going the same way as the first.

I am doing step 3 the third time already. Somehow I am getting lucky and the headset is recognizing the strap again and it works. But this cannot be the final solution. You can‘t expect me to do this every time as soon as the battery of the strap hits 0 or needs to get charged.
I assume we all want a clear answer.
Is it now a hardware or software issue? My meta quest 3 is running the latest version.
