Is anyone working on the Quest 3 elite battery issue? It charges but won’t connect to the headset for more than a few seconds, meaning you cannot charge through the back port.

@TomCgcmfc, thanks for telling me this. We must be the lucky few who don't have an issue or at least nothing so bad that we can't use our Quest 3 headsets more or less like we want to. Thanks for answering another thing I wondered and that is if it's okay to keep the Quest charging after it's fully charged.

Hi! I had it on the charging-station the whole night. The Q3 is fully charged, the Elite-Strap-Battery wasn't. I have unplugged it from the Q3 and charge it separately now.

So I thought it can not get any worse. Strap was connected to my headset and it got recognized after several attempts. I kept it charging over the night and guess what. Firing up my quest this morning and the strap is not showing up anymore. Plugging it in once more and it shows up, but only with 74% of charge? LOL?

Not had chance to read all (35 pages of) responses, but my Elite runs down in power all by itself with the headset turned off.
It takes 2 days to go from 100% to 0% without using my Q3 at all.
In fact my Q3 has also gone down from 100% to 74% in this time also.
The strap is showing fine when the HMD is off and i short press the on/off button and also if i hover over the power icon in the HMD.

Just FYI, I got this response after explaining that my strap only connects for a few seconds no matter what I do and after following all suggestions -

I have had to ask for a refund or replacement, they have now asked for serial etc....

So not sure how useful this is but getting it out there ....
So as you know I have the same problem as you lot, your Q3 Elite Strap won't charge your headset.
Mine is at 100% charge and I've been struggling to find something that will take a charge, in a bid to flatten the battery on the strap so that I can reset it and charge it up again (it might work?) - phone didn't take a charge, ear buds, Quest 2 ....Nothing.....Until I tried my Galaxy S8+ Tablet, which is taking a charge from the battery strap.
Currently got the TV running on full brightness, draining the head strap. Let's see what happens after that.

I’ve tried that, didn’t work. Meta are offering replacements, just be persistent with them.

Thanks for reporting this, I too have a stuck bright green pixel and the same elite battery strap issue.

I have had the Elite strap with battery now since last Friday and out of 4 days in a row it worked the first two without a problem and yesterday and today I have the same issue as you:
The glasses are not charged although the battery is connected, today I noticed it and after a few times plug out and wiede plug in and the glasses recognizes it.
But does not seem to work when the glasses have 100% and I try it at the beginning already.
I think or hope it is rather a software problem.
