Is anyone working on the Quest 3 elite battery issue? It charges but won’t connect to the headset for more than a few seconds, meaning you cannot charge through the back port.

Perfectly described!
They’ve disappeared from Best Buy shelves…

Update: The PTC v60 update has arrived, it still works well, the system version number has not changed.

Updated. They keep failing, this borders on pathetic

Hi, so has Meta gave you the courtesy of a response yet and a replacement? I too have issue and I’m seriously just considering getting a refund and buying a cheaper headstrap with battery, I really don’t want to waste my time if the replacement suffers with the same problem and Meta don’t offer a proper solution,

I found out today (10.19.23) that there has been a recall issued today. I'll be getting my replacement sometime this week hopefully.

Any idea where to find official information on the recall?
Just received my Elite Strap last week from Amazon, and - surprise - it stopped working after 2 days with the known issues.

Send it back as fast as you can and get your money back. Buy a pocket sized battery back 100W at least 20,000 MWH and a comfortable strap without a battery. You will be much happier. I keep mine in my back pocket and plugged in. It lasts all day and then some.

Wive is already running a Bobo M3, but I'm not happy with the amount of movement the M3 allows as well as the 5V-batteries just barely keeping the Quest 3 at charge.
... guess I'll give it a few more days to see how Meta will react, thanks for consumer protection laws.
