Been using Quest pro with airlink for 4 months now without any issues whatsoever.
After the headset was updated to V54 I'm having headset lag/connection issues on airlink.
Screen is stuttery at times when moving in my playspace or moving my head, the image gets laggy, choppy and black frames appear on the side of the screen oposite to where I'm moving my head.
Image quality has degraded significantly with lots of "artifacts".
This makes casual games like VR chat hard to play due to constant lag and stutter, games like Beat Saber are impossible to play.
I havent changed a single thing in my playspace nor my setup, router config is the same as when it was working, PC is the same, no update has been applied to any of this.
Any advice would be much appreciated as Im lost on what to do.
Just in case
Specs
CPU I9 12900k
32GB Ram
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080TI
Router: TP-link AX1500 Wifi 6 dedicated just to the headset.

Please, before anyone posts any new replies to complain, try my solution from page 12 and do the exact steps... I know its not a full solution but until there is another update that actually fixes the camera / tracking issues you need to do that temporary solution with the passthrough mode to get rid of those massive lag spikes / stuttering.

Same problem here.
As soon as I updated to v54 I instantly lost ability to connect to PC via cable or Air Link.
Since then I have:
Nothing works. Every time I try to connect I get the three dots on the headset and "Oculus isn't working correctly" notification in the Oculus App.
Also, I just built a new computer a couple weeks ago and still have my old one sitting here so I fired it back up and plugged in my headset (v55) and had no problem connecting to the PC via Link Cable (PC Oculus App on v53). Then I update the Oculus App on the old PC to v55, and now I'm unable to connect via Link Cable. So whatever is going on the issue seems to be the Oculus App, since I had a stable connection then touched nothing except updating the Oculus App, and now cannot connect (and I have now done this on two separate PCs).
I then did a complete reinstall of Windows, and that has not changed the problem in any way.

I’ve been running on my 3070ti 3600x 32gb Ram for almost 2 years on the quest 2.
2.6GBps-2.9GBPs test for official link cable
Tried Airlink just to see if it would connect, and it’s the same issue, infinite dots.
-I’ve tried all solutions you’ve just listed swapping between PTC and non PTC.
This seems to be an Oculus App Update issue, please address or send out an option to revert to a stable version.

Luckily this person with the same issues had a PC with V53 and it worked.
V54 V55 seem to be Broken.

Seems like Oculus App is broken after V53.

I tried the pass through tip, but it did not get rid of the lag.
The spikes have been less frequent, from appearing every minute down to every 5–10 mins.
At this point I even take the v53 with its artifacts, at least I could play my games fluently.
