Been using Quest pro with airlink for 4 months now without any issues whatsoever.
After the headset was updated to V54 I'm having headset lag/connection issues on airlink.
Screen is stuttery at times when moving in my playspace or moving my head, the image gets laggy, choppy and black frames appear on the side of the screen oposite to where I'm moving my head.
Image quality has degraded significantly with lots of "artifacts".
This makes casual games like VR chat hard to play due to constant lag and stutter, games like Beat Saber are impossible to play.
I havent changed a single thing in my playspace nor my setup, router config is the same as when it was working, PC is the same, no update has been applied to any of this.
Any advice would be much appreciated as Im lost on what to do.
Just in case
Specs
CPU I9 12900k
32GB Ram
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080TI
Router: TP-link AX1500 Wifi 6 dedicated just to the headset.

I also tried the passthrough workaround with slight success. One game became playable after doing the passthrough workaround multiple times. I then tried another game and that was still not playable.

Tried this on v54, it does not help with the "strafe stutter". Will try it on v55 once I get trafe stutter again on this version.

No, PTC v55 is not a workaround and a solution. It's unplayable and leads me to factory reset the headset.

So wild that nothing has actually been addressed!

V54 causing unstable connection for pcvr. Meta does not say anything about it although it is a problem for over a week now. Be prepared to wait a month or so for a new update to fix it lol

Buckled up and started the Oculus today after yesterday performed the V54 automatically firmware update and things blowed up. There is like a huge X artifact as soon you launch the Home oculus app for PCVR and happening the same with SteamVR leaving all unplayable and a sick stomache feeling.
Oculus team instead of promoting new meta 3 devices, do some rollback testing with the updates for the current gen and public out there instead of launching random auto updates and breaking things more 😞 Also no news or update to address this yet?
