Been using Quest pro with airlink for 4 months now without any issues whatsoever.
After the headset was updated to V54 I'm having headset lag/connection issues on airlink.
Screen is stuttery at times when moving in my playspace or moving my head, the image gets laggy, choppy and black frames appear on the side of the screen oposite to where I'm moving my head.
Image quality has degraded significantly with lots of "artifacts".
This makes casual games like VR chat hard to play due to constant lag and stutter, games like Beat Saber are impossible to play.
I havent changed a single thing in my playspace nor my setup, router config is the same as when it was working, PC is the same, no update has been applied to any of this.
Any advice would be much appreciated as Im lost on what to do.

CPU I9 12900k
32GB Ram
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080TI
Router: TP-link AX1500 Wifi 6 dedicated just to the headset.

I am getting really tired of meta's half arsed updates. Tried wireless PC vr for the first time in about two months, and got occassional stuttery low FPS spikes. Wired I get none of that. Thought its my wireless router, did a full factory reset, even tried a different router. Then thought its my PC, did a complete reinstall of windows with complete format of the OS partition. Still getting it. Then came across this thread and now I'm furious all over again. First I had the stupid guardian but with the previous update now this?! Meta tried to start a metaverse but can't even get their updates in order. **bleep** joke

I have v55 PTC and have the same issues. Airlink is unusable. I can barely even quit the menu after it has launched. Virtual Desktop runs well, but the games are very laggy. I had perfect performance last time I played PC games with my Quest (about 2 months ago).
I don't see a build number. Here is what I have 50577570031400150 for Software Update
Runtime version is 55.0.0.111.713.486310276

Yeah, that's great, since we all know that Quest 2 updates are always available for every-- oh, no, wait, they're not! They're on some kind of staged release for some INCREDIBLY STUPID REASON. No, I love still being on v54 and having my wireless connection be completely broken as hell (after having downgraded from the PTC, since I don't want to be stuck on always testing new versions without having to do a full-on factory reset) while I wait to see when the gods deem me ready for the update.
Seriously, y'all must be praying for good fortune that Bytedance isn't in the US market with Pico 4, or else you'd be totally dead.

Where is the hotfix? Since updating to V54 the wifi lag/latency has been horrendous. Everything ran perfectly with Airlink before V54.
Up until last night I am still waiting for this "fix" and/or V55 of which neither apparently are available ???

This is how I got my air link to work before they updated. And with work I mean lag free , I still got artifacts in the right lens, but at least my games are again playable.
For me personally, I did not see a big change with their update. Lag was still gone, but the artifacts are back.
What bugs me the most, I still get the update message when powering off. I tried it once and nothing happened.
And I am sure I have the latest PTC build for now on all the stupid (phone) devices, they require...
What a mess.

Reboot didn't help. My Air Bridge shows it works well, but the experience is terrible. So lagging!

Mine is v54 no PTC v55. It works now for your reference.
