Been using Quest pro with airlink for 4 months now without any issues whatsoever.
After the headset was updated to V54 I'm having headset lag/connection issues on airlink.
Screen is stuttery at times when moving in my playspace or moving my head, the image gets laggy, choppy and black frames appear on the side of the screen oposite to where I'm moving my head.
Image quality has degraded significantly with lots of "artifacts".
This makes casual games like VR chat hard to play due to constant lag and stutter, games like Beat Saber are impossible to play.
I havent changed a single thing in my playspace nor my setup, router config is the same as when it was working, PC is the same, no update has been applied to any of this.
Any advice would be much appreciated as Im lost on what to do.
Just in case
Specs
CPU I9 12900k
32GB Ram
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080TI
Router: TP-link AX1500 Wifi 6 dedicated just to the headset.

Have you considered that there's probably something in your environment causing intermittent RF interference?

I have an extra router that provides a 5 GHz WiFi specifically for the googles and it's less than two meters away. Of course, WiFi issues have been a potential culprit. However, I was able to rule this out through various tests, changing the channels used, etc. There are not other 5 GHz Nets around, my main router provides only 2,4 Ghz so they don't disturb each other. There are no other apparent sources of interference nearby and I think this would affect other Wifi devices too which isn't the case.
While the problem persisted, Airlink didn't work with more than 75 mbit with my main router too where I got 120-150 mbit most of the time before. So I think I can rule out the router(s) as the source of the problem.
I still have absolutely no idea what caused the problem and why it suddenly disappeared...maybe some background driver update which I didn't notice or something similar. 😞

I'm on Quest 3, with a 3070 ti, been having this issue for months, I'm on the new firmware update and everything and at this point I am very close to just giving up on PCVR. I wish I could refund my PCVR games, but I bought them through steam when I had the Rift S.

Virtual Desktop solved it for me (tested with Quest 2 + 3 using a Razer Blade 14 with RTX 3070 and a Wifi-6 modem/router). Though of course I wish Meta would just make Meta Air Link work out of the box like it used to.

I have same problem with Quest 2. That's my first VR headset. So air link is useless. i don't understand that such a company couldn't fix that problem and has a primary way to nowhere. If they can't fix it they will have no costumers any more and guess what is a final.. everyone will know that oculus is junk. thank you for your attention

Just spend the 20 bucks and use virtual desktop. If that doesn't work then your PC is the problem. Plus , this issue was actually resolved a few versions ago for the most part and definitely not there on the quest 3.
