I am sick of this happening every time the devs roll out a new update.
Oculus app updated this evening, Quest Pro headset will no longer be detected via cable connection, only wireless.
Doesn't matter if I'm opted into PTR, or opt out and uninstall the new drivers that came along with this.
If anyone manages to get themselves out of this situation lemme know how ya did it!

OK - so this worked for me also - went into Developer Mode in Oculus Settings Menu - clicked on "Use USB Connection to PC" - the old waring about allow access to PC data (yes) - the back to Link - liked on Quest PC Link as normal and all's working as normal with Oculus PC App v57.0.0.238.153.
Maybe someone else can try this and write the instruction better than me?

This video got me back going. I'm not sure what kicked it off (I "think" Developer Mode Toggle), but going step-by-step (via video) got me working again. TY @Macproracer

Unfortunately, @TheAntiSocializer post is just an announcement of a "known problem", not a solution. Let us continue with the troubleshooting, TY. As of now, Developer Mode is at least a temporary solution.
@Choleni wrote:It's already flagged as a solution on first page of this thread.
There is also a post from @TheAntiSocializer where he confirmed it's an software problem and the team is working on it.
So - hopefully - our headsets will be detected again soon without any workarounds.🙂

This should be pinned as a Solution until there's a driver update. TY @peter.cox
@peter.cox wrote:Yeah, it works for me. Essentially, enable "developer mode" on the HMD.
See here for one helpful video explanation of how to do that...

I mean the post from @Shrapnel5 is flagged as solution, not @TheAntiSocializer has already a real fix for that.
Sorry, I didn't make myself clear🙂
I don't want go through this Developer mode solution ......so, I will wait a bit until Meta will come out with a fix for that.
