Hey there! It's possible that the DisplayPort cable connection got loose behind the facial interface, which is causing the headset to lose power. Can you try popping off the facial interface and inspect the cable/port for any damage? If there's no physical damage, re-seat the cable and make sure it's secure before popping the interface back onto the headset. Then test within the PC app to see if the DisplayPort is recognized, and if there are any status lights on the headset.

When disconnecting and reconnecting the headset, it's best to follow this step-by-step:

  1. Unplug the USB cable from your computer.
  2. Unplug the mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort cable from your computer.
  3. First re-plug your USB cable into your computer.
  4. Wait 5 seconds, or until the light on your headset comes on.
  5. Re-plug your mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort cable into your computer.

If that doesn't help, please reach out to us through our support channel, so that we can gather and inspect your log files for any conflicting software/compatibility issues! Since our updated site can be a bit tricky to navigate through, we recommend picking the following options:

  1. Meta Quest
  2. Oculus Rift S
  3. Accessory
  4. Cable(s)
  5. Choose an option of E-mail, Chat, or Chat via WhatsApp
