Every few days or so the Rift suddenly goes black and stays unusable for a few seconds before booting up again and Oculus Home shows me that the HDMI was disconnected. I also wanted to mention that one time this happened the audio(discord VOIP) was still there during the black out, if this helps you narrow this issue down.
Should i upload logs or something to narrow down the source of the problem ?
I also tried to tug on the cable on the HMD side and also pushed into the underside of the HMD like one user described, it doesn't trigger the issue tough so it must be caused by something i haven't thought about.
I use the recommended Inateck 4-USB 3.0 card by the way.
What is really really strange that specifically a few games like to cause this problem. In particular War Thunder and recently an indie game in development called Compound : https://notdead.itch.io/compound
hi are you using the generic superspeed windows 10 drivers? if not try uninstalling the drivers you have and letting windows use its own.
oculus home does moan that you should consider updating the drivers, however i find things are better with the windows 10 drivers. a google shows the majority feel that way.
